NEON representatives attend European Commission meetings, conferences and workshops, organised by the Directorate-General for Justice & Consumers and the Directorate-General for Energy: Citizens’ Energy Forum, Working group on vulnerable consumers, Working group on e-billing and data management, Expert Group on consumers as energy market actors, etc.
NEON members contributed to the Working Group Report on Alternative Dispute Resolution in the Energy Sector Report prepared for the 4th Citizens’ Energy Forum in October 2011.
NEON maintains excellent relationships with the University of Oxford (Centre for Socio-Legal Studies) and participated in several studies, workshop and working groups organised by the Centre.
NEON members collaborate with authorities and regulators in Europe and worldwide on a daily basis in order to improve and reinforce consumer protection within the energy markets.
